Our members interests are Aircraft, Armour, Sci-Fi, Cars, Ships, and Figures.
We work in all scales, but 1/48th and 1/32nd are the most popular with the Aircraft modellers.

Many of our members build and write for model magazines such as Model Airplane International and Sc-Fi and Fantasy Modeller.

Some of our members have also joined the Airfix Group Build featured on the Hyperscale website.

"The RAF Hendon Scale Model Show 2012"

We are pleased to announce the Model Show at RAF Hendon for 2012
This show is supported by IPMS Barnet and IPMS Harrow.
The show is to be held on Sunday 20th May 2012. Opening time 10.00am to 6.00pm, free admission.

Model Shows in 2011

'IPMS (UK) Scale Model World 2011', the IPMS Nationals, held at Telford.
This was our eighth year of attendence to Scale Model World, we were displaying alongside IPMS Barnet.
We all had a great three days at Telford.
We visited RAF Cosford on the Friday, as usual!
During the Saturday and Sunday we all spent vast amounts of cash on kits, books, decals etc, and had a great time.

Model Shows in 2012

'ModelKraft 2012'
The Milton Keynes Show is to be held on Sunday 5th Feb 2012,
at the Stantonbury Leisure Centre, Milton Keynes MK14 6BN.
Do not miss this great show.


'Southern Expo 2012'
Southern Expo is to be held on Saturday 24th March and Sunday 25th March 2012,
at the Hornchurch Leisure Centre, Hornchurch.
Do not miss this great two day show.


'The RAF Hendon Scale Model Show 2012'
This excellent model show returns on Sunday 20th May 2012.
Organised by IPMS Barnet at the RAF Museum Hendon.
Admission is free!


'The MAFVA Nationals'
The MAFVA Nationals are held at IWM Duxford on Sunday 17th June 2012.
This show is run in conjunction with the Military Vehicle Show, and Military Book Fair.

'IPMS (UK) Scale Model World', the IPMS Nationals 2012
The biggest model show in the World will be held on Saturday November 10th and Sunday November 11th 2012,
at the Telford International Centre. Start planning those displays and saving now!

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the Doolittle raid on Japan.
April 18th 1942

This year also marks the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway.
June 4th to June 7th.

This year also marks the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein.
July 1st to July 27th and October 23rd to November 11th.
